My friend is Taiwanese (臺灣人). She is the most amazing friend - she speaks three languages! Besides being a great friend, she is a great cook! She made me Fried Rice the other evening. It was fantastic :)
Pronunciation: chaw fan
Left Character: stir-fry
Right Character: cooked rice
She recently came back from Taiwan and brought back goodies for me - how sweet! The pineapple cakes are the best :)
