Fusilli alla Caprese
For those of you who don't know:
Fusilli = type of pasta noodle
alla = preposition (i.e., 'of the')
Caprese = fresh mozzerella (or buffalo), tomatoes, basil
Caprese may refer to: something of or pertaining to Capri.
The Isle of Capri...does it ring a bell to any Dean Martin fans? Yes, he sings about it!
I had the opportunity to go to Capri with my family. It is such a beautiful place. Make sure you go on the Capri boat tour. It will take your breath away!
Capri is known for their lemons. They have plenty of Limoncello to go around!
Back to the Fusilli alla Caprese!
It is especially delicious served with grilled chicken.
